2015 WORLD JUDO DAY / DÍA
Cuarto Aniversario / Fourth Anniversary
On August 26, 2011, between 1700 hrs and 1900 hrs, in Niteroi-RJ, Brazil, the Founding Congress of the World JudoFederation (WJF) was conducted, including the approval of Statutes and the election of its First Board of Directors.
El 26 de agosto 2011, entre las 17:00 a las 19:00 horas, en Niteroi-RJ, Brasil, fue realizado el Congreso Constitutivo de la World Judo Federation. donde se aprobo el Estatuto y se realizo la eleccion del Primer Comite Ejecutivo.
Founding National Members who were present or represented at the Congress were: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Spain, United States, Dominican Republic, Panama, Romania, Sweden, and Venezuela.
Los Miembos Nacionales quienes estuvieron presentes o representados en el Congreso fueron: Argentina, Australia, Brasil, Bolivia, Chile, España, Estados Unidos, Republica Dominicana, Panama, Rumania, Suecia y Venezuela.
Mr. Jaime Casanova representing the Dominican Republic was elected President of the WJF. Mr. Paul Dubois representing Brazil was elected the Vice-President (America) and also the Treasurer. Mr. Bruce Bethers representing the United States was elected the General Secretary, Dr. Paul Hoglund representing Sweden was elected Vice-President (Europe), Mr. David Gordge was elected Vice-President (Oceania), Mr. Alejandro Giuliano representing Chile was elected Sport Director , Mr. Carlos Diaz representing Venezuela was elected Referee Directors for WJF.and Mr. Jose Manuel Garcia representing Spain was elected Education and Coaching Director.
On this important date, August 26th, we suggest doing activities to highlight it.

El señor Jaime Casanova representando a la Republica Dominicana fue electo Presidente de la World JudoFederation, el señor Paulo Dubois representando Brasil fue electo Vicepresidente (America) y tambien Tesorero, el señor Bruce Bethers representando a los Estados Unidos fue electo Secretario General, el doctor Paul G. Hoglund representado a Suecia fue electo Primer Vicepresidente y vicepresidente (Europa), el señor David Gordge fue electo Vicepresidente (Oceania), el señor Alejandro Giuliano representando Chile fue electo Director Deportivo, el señor Carlos Diaz, representando a Venezuela fue electo Director de Arbitraje y el señor Jose Manuel Garcia Garcia representando a España fue electo Director de Educacion y Entrenadores.
En esta importante fecha, 26 de agosto, les sugerimos realizar actividades para destacar la misma.
