 CONFEDERACION DOMINICANA DE JUDO PARTICIPA EN EL DIA OLIMPICO

Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.- Siguiendo las directrices trazadas por el Comité Olímpico Internacional la Confederación Dominicana de Judo (Condojudo), participo en el Dia Olímpico este 23 de junio junto a diferentes organizaciones deportivas a nivel nacional en la actividad que se realizo en las inmediaciones del Centro Olímpico Juan Pablo Duarte de esta ciudad Primada de América.

El amplio programa fue confeccionado por el Comité Olímpico Dominicano iniciando con la interpretación del himno nacional para seguidamente el presidente del Comité Olímpico Dominicano resaltar la fecha en la que un 23 de junio de 1894 se fundo el Comité Olímpico Internacional en la ciudad de Paris, Francia y que ahora cumple su 130 Aniversario.

De inmediato las palabras de la maestra Felicita Heredia para resaltar el importante significado de la siembra de arboles en el Jardín Olímpico acorde con la actividad ecológica en la que esta inmerso el Movimiento Olímpico a nivel mundial.

Luego se continuo con el desarrollo del amplio programa con la Caminata Olímpica la que ya es una tradición para esta fecha en el ámbito mundial y esta vez se integraron los clubes, ligas, personas

especiales, federaciones nacionales, el propio Ministerio de Deportes representado por el viceministro Franklin De la Mota Núñez, entre otros.
La historia nos enseña que fue el doctor Gruss, miembro checo del Comité Olímpico Internacional, quien presento la idea de la celebración del Dia Olímpico cada año en la 41 Sesión de ese organismo en la ciudad de Estocolmo, Suecia siendo aprobada la propuesta en enero 1948.

Finalizada la Caminata Olímpica y con los máximos dirigentes olímpicos en la tarima principal preparada para la actividad se dio el uso de la palabra a los ingenieros Garibaldy Bautista y a Luis Chanlatte quienes son presidente y secretario, respectivamente, del Comité Olímpico Dominicano y por la parte estatal representando al Ministerio de Deportes al licenciado Franklin De la Mota Nuñez.

¡Vamos a movernos! es el mensaje del Comité Olímpico Internacional, sobre todo en el año en que tendrá lugar la justa veraniega que volverá a reunir a miles de atletas de todo el planeta en busca del podio, ahora en París, Francia.
La actividad continuo con diferentes programas como exhibiciones deportivas de "Inclusión y el Olimpismo", deportes paraolímpicos, programa de recreación, exposición de afiches sobre el Medio Ambiente, así mismo, un programa artístico y cultural, entre otros.
Los eventos desarrollados fueron de alta calificación de parte de los participantes a la vez que reconocieron la parte organizativa del mismo que estuvo bajo la gerencia de como Director de la Academia Olímpica.

DOMINICAN JUDO CONFEDERATION PARTICIPATES IN OLYMPIC DAY

The activity continued with different programs such as sports exhibitions of "Inclusion and Olympism", Paralympic sports, a recreation program, an exhibition of posters on the Environment, as well as an artistic and cultural program, among others.

The events developed were highly rated by the participants while they recognized its organizational area, which was under the management of engineer Pedro Julio Quezada as Director of the Olympic Academy.
