CONFEDERACION DOMINICANA DE JUDO CELEBRA EL DIA MUNDIAL DE LA CAMINATA TAFISA 2023

Santo Domingo, República Dominicana.- La Asociación Internacional de Deportes para Todos (Tafisa), inicio el Día Mundial de la Caminata en el año 1991 y hoy mas de 160 países y millones de personas se hacen presente el primer domingo del mes de octubre para esta actividad que involucra a los cinco continentes.

Preservar la salud personal y colectiva evitando el dañino sedentarismo movió decididamente esta iniciativa de una organización como Tafisa que es reconocida por el Comité Olímpico Internacional (COI) y que celebra sus Juegos Mundiales en diferentes ciudades y países cada cuatro años.

Para la Confederación Dominicana de Judo (CONDOJUDO), ha sido una verdadera tradición la participación en la actividad de referencia junto a todos sus organismo de base como lo son las

asociaciones provinciales con sus atletas, entrenadores y árbitros a todos los niveles, siguiendo las directrices de nuestros organismos superiores la Unión Panamericana de Judo (UPJ) y la propia World Judo Federation (WJF).
Es parte del programa la tradicional caminata en lugares de esparcimiento publico como el Parque Mirador del Sur en la ciudad de Santo Domingo.-

DOMINICAN JUDO CONFEDERATION CELEBRATES WORLD WALKING DAY TAFISA 2023

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.- The Association International of Sport for All (Tafisa), started World Walking Day in 1991 and today more than 160 countries and millions of people are present on the first Sunday of the month of October to this activity that involves the five continents.

Preserving personal and collective health by avoiding a harmful sedentary lifestyle decisively motivated this initiative of an organization like Tafisa, which is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and which holds its World Games in different cities and countries every four years.

For the Dominican Judo Confederation (CONDOJUDO), it has been a true tradition to participate in the reference activity together with all its grassroots organizations such as the provincial associations with their athletes, coaches and referees at all levels, following the guidelines of our higher organizations the Panamerican Judo Union (PJU) and the World Judo Federation (WJF) itself.

Part of the program is the traditional walk in places of public recreation such as the Mirador del Sur Park in the city of Santo Domingo.-
