PARA CUANDO LA CLASIFICACION OLIMPICA DEL JUDO DOMINICANO?
WHEN WILL THE OLYMPIC CLASSIFICATION OF THE DOMINICAN JUDO?

Como hemos indicado en notas anteriores estas competiciones por el alto costo que ellas representan no son accesibles para países del tercer mundo toda vez que están ideadas para beneficiar a los más poderosos económicamente, claramente a Europa.
Por Europa 34 países para un 47,89 % y 254 atletas y un 51.11 % para luego de analizar esto ya podemos hacernos una idea acabada de quienes fueron los ganadores de este evento que otorga puntos para la clasificación a los Juegos Olímpicos de este año en Tokio, Japón.
Siguiendo con el continente asiático 14 países que corresponde al 19.72 % del total de los que vieron acción y en cuanto a los atletas con 176 para un porcentaje de 35.41.
Veamos la participación de América con 7 países para un 9.86 % y en cuanto a los atletas con 40 lo que configura un 8.05 % de asistencia al evento de clasificación olímpica.
El continente africano con 14 países y 21 atletas para situarse en los porcentajes de 19.71 y 4.22, respectivamente.
De Oceanía puede verse que tuvo la mas baja participación en el certamen clasificatorio con 2 países para 2.82 % soportando a 6 atletas en un ínfimo porcentaje de 1.21.
Claramente se conocía donde irían los ganadores del certamen y que a la
vez se quedarían con los puntos de la clasificación olímpica como resulto ser.
El caramelo es que se obtienen puntos por el simple hecho de participar pero en modo alguno son suficientes para lograr la anhelada clasificación olímpica.
Anteriormente los eventos de clasificación olímpica se hacían en los continentes respectivos y tanto los certámenes regionales del ciclo olímpico con otras competencias en el área panamericana servían como clasificatorios.
Obvio que los Campeonatos del Mundo, sin importar la sede, otorgaban el
pase directo hasta cierta posición final y puntuaciones por la participación como siempre ha sido la norma.
Hoy día la clasificación olímpica en el deporte de judo se le puso lejos
y difícil a los países de los continentes de Asia, África, América y Oceanía.
El anterior evento clasificatorio fue en Tel Aviv donde los dominicanos no vieron acción por una mala jugada del covid limitando la competición de los mismos.
Lo cierto es que el judo mundial y de manera especifica América permitió que la clasificación olímpica se hiciera fuera de los propio continente y ya tenemos los resultados donde Republica Dominicana lograba llevar a los Juegos Olímpicos hasta 6 atletas debidamente clasificados y hoy día para Londres 2012 y Rio 2016 debieron esperar una invitación, dadiva, para en cada una de estas versiones tener únicamente un atleta.
La infamia es que ahora están en los Juegos Olímpicos mas países de América que hace 12 años porque se les dan invitaciones a mayor número de países pero la realidad es que con una muy baja calidad técnica lo que reduce enormemente la posibilidad real de medallas para el continente como se demuestra estadísticamente.
Ya que los seudo dirigentes del judo panamericano vendieron su honor porque Pan Am Sports, Odesur, Odebo, Centro Caribe Sports, entre otras organizaciones, y los propios
Comités Olímpicos de América no hacen sentir su voz mas fuerte para dar un giro a estas descalificadas clasificaciones olímpicas en el deporte de judo?

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.- On March 4, the
official organ of Centro Caribe Sports chaired by the Dominican Luis Mejía
Oviedo reported that two (2) Dominicans would be in the Grand Prix of Tashkent,
capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan by way of add points, each of them, to
obtain the Olympic qualification to Tokyo 2020.
Unfortunately the athletes Wander Mateo and
Medickson del Orbe in 66 and 81 kilograms, respectively, did not have the
expected result since when they lost the first fight of the day in their
respective weight categories they were eliminated from the fair that was staged
from 5 to 7 March in the Uzbek capital.
As we have indicated in previous notes, these
competitions, due to the high cost they represent, are not accessible to third world
countries since they are designed to benefit the most economically powerful,
clearly Europe.
Let's see some important data where the totality of
participating athletes represented 71 countries and 497 female and male
athletes.
Through Europe 34 countries for 47.89% and 254
athletes and 51.11% and after analyzing this we can already get a complete idea
of who
were the winners of this event that grants points for the classification to the
Olympic Games this year in Tokyo Japan.

Olympic cycle with other competitions in the Panamerican area served as
qualifiers.
Obviously, the World Championships, regardless of the venue, granted the direct pass to a certain final position and scores for participation as has always been the norm.
Today the Olympic Qualification in the sport of judo has become far and difficult for the countries of the continents of Asia, Africa, America and Oceania.
The previous qualifying event was in Tel Aviv where the Dominicans saw no action due to a bad move by the covid limiting their competition.
The truth is that world judo and specifically America allowed the Olympic Classification to be made outside the continent itself and we already have the results where the Dominican Republic managed to bring up to 6 athletes to the Olympic Games duly classified and today for London 2012 and Rio 2016 had to wait for an invitation, a gift, to have only one athlete in each of these versions.
The infamy is
that now more countries in America are in the Olympic Games than 12 years ago
because they are given invitations to a greater number of countries but the
reality is that with a very low technical quality which greatly reduces the
real possibility of medals for the continent as statistically demonstrated.
Since the pseudo leaders of Pan American judo sold their honor because Pan Am Sports, Odesur, Odebo, Centro Caribe Sports, among other organizations, and the Olympic Committees of America do not make their voice louder to turn around these disqualified Olympic rankings in the sport of judo?
