Dominican Judo Confederation congratulates the Dominican Mother on her Day
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.- Different dates around the world serve to recognize our procreators depending on Europe, America and other continents with the express purpose of venerating that capital being that gives the procreation of humanity and that is also a link perennial in our lives regardless of the situation in which we find ourselves.
That is why in the Dominican Republic and by official law of May 30, 1926 under the government of Horacio Vázquez, Mother's Day was established.
It was the educator Ercilia Pepín and Mrs. Trina de Moya, the latter wife of the then President of the Republic, who composed the lyrics of the Hymn to the Mother to exalt "Her tenderness and her eagerness, and her noble tribute of unparalleled self-denial." "
In this way, Mother's Day is an intrinsic part of the popular culture of the Dominican people and therefore one of the most revered and celebrated festivities by the inhabitants of this land of Quisqueya.
Thus, the Dominican Judo Confederation, Condojudo, through its Executive Committee, Technical Body and the respective Associations that comprise it, recognize and congratulate the Mothers in their day as extraordinary beings with deep respect and admiration,
And the fact is that Condojudo has women within it, whether as an athlete, coach, referee, managerial functions, support staff, in short, the wonder of this being that we call Mother is a vital part of all our levels within the National Judo. That is why we recognize and admire it with all possible respect.
Many and abundant congratulations to all Dominican mothers on their day of days!!!
