Confederacion Dominicana de Judo en el Dia Internacional del Deporte para el Desarrollo y la Paz / Dominican Judo Confederation on the International Day of Sports for Development and Peace

Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.- Siguiendo el accionar de los programas de actividades año tras año, la Confederación Dominicana de Judo (Condojudo), se integra plenamente a la celebración del Dia Internacional del Deporte para del Desarrollo y la Paz con sus atletas, entrenadores, árbitros, asociaciones, cuerpo técnico y los dirigentes federados.
Esta fecha fue instruida por la Asamblea de las Naciones Unidas (ONU) el 23 de agosto 2013 con el soporte del Comité Olímpico Internacional (COI) la que fue elegida para conmemorar el inicio de los Primeros Juegos Olímpicos de la Era Moderna el 6 de abril de 1896 en Atenas, Grecia.

La Organización de la Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura conocida por las siglas como Unesco, es la rama de las Naciones Unidas encargada de esta celebración y que para este 2024 instituyó el tema: «El deporte como instrumento para promover sociedades pacíficas e inclusivas«,
Así mismo, la entidad Peace and Sport cuyo presidente y fundador es el miembro del Comité Olímpico Internacional, Joel Bouzou, promueve diferentes actividades a nivel mundial bajo el patronato del Príncipe Alberto II de Mónaco.
Una de las actividades que promueve Peace and Sport es el uso de la Tarjeta Blanca (#WhiteCard) dejando de lado las amonestaciones de tarjetas amarillas y rojas, en fin, invitando a no castigar sino a la promoción de la paz de manera muy especial en este 6 de abril como Dia Internacional del Deporte para el Desarrollo y la Paz.

La promoción de la Paz en este 2024 es parte esencial a los fines de poner fin a los conflictos bélicos existentes en Ucrania, Gaza - Israel, el estrecho de Badbe al Mandeb que da acceso al Mar Rojo por el Océano Indico, entre otros conflictos mundiales.
Integrada a las actividades mundiales la Condojudo presenta en este día charlas sobre la fecha, competiciones intramuros, clínicas de arbitraje y entrenamiento, exposiciones fotográficas y afiches, entre otras.
El Comité Ejecutivo de la Condojudo que promueve estas actividades está integrado por José Rafael Suárez Morales, Percio Salvador Pujols Castillo, Juana Morbán,  Bolívar Abreu Lugo y Miguel Fatiol quienes son presidente, vicepresidente, secretario, tesorero y vocal, respectivamente.

Likewise, the Peace and Sport entity whose president and founder is the member of the International Olympic Committee, Joel Bouzou, promotes different activities worldwide under the patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco.
