Santo Domingo Este, Republica Dominicana.- En la ampliación de los locales de practica de esta mítica disciplina la Confederación Dominicana de Judo (Condojudo), previa invitación, se unió a la inauguración del Club Proyecto.
La instalación esta ubicada en la Urbanización Mi Hogar de la calle Tercera numero 39 realizándose las practicas del Judo los días martes y jueves de cada semana en horarios de 6 a 8 de la noche y el sábado de cuatro cinco de la la tarde.
Además de la disciplina de judo también se estarán impartiendo otras disciplinas deportivas artemarcialistas como Jiu Jitsu y Kurash, entre otras, con calificados instructores.
El ingeniero Feliz Emilio Ruiz Figueroa tuvo las palabras introductoras de la actividad dando la bienvenida al ingeniero Jaime Casanova Martínez, presidente de la Unión Panamericana de Judo, a la vez que resalto las facilidades de practicas de la disciplina del Maestro Jigoro Kano como estimulo a los padres de los atletas presentes.
La apertura de este Club Proyecto es de beneficio social a la comunidad y redundara en la formación integral de los jóvenes practicantes.
Luego del acto protocolar los niños y jóvenes practicantes recibieron la instrucción del profesor Radhames Gómez Valera, calificado entrenador de esta noble arte marcial.
La directiva del Club Proyecto esta compuesta por Clearence George Ramírez, Miguel Elías Fatiol Hernández, Edward José Feliz Romero, Feliz Emilio Ruiz Figueroa y Ezekiel Félix Ruiz Santana quienes son presidente, vicepresidente, secretario, tesorero y vocal, respectivamente.
"Hoy hacemos realidad la instalación de este local de practicas de diferentes artes marciales que por largos años habíamos soñado para beneficio de los niños y jóvenes que a diario estarán aquí ejercitándose y en base a los valores del judo de amistad y prosperidad mutua como la instituyo el Maestro Jigoro Kano cuando fundo esta disciplina en 1882", así se expreso el ingeniero Ruiz Figueroa al finalizar la actividad.
