San Pedro de Macorís, Republica Dominicana. Fue celebrado el Campeonato de Judo por La Paz, este sábado 24 de septiembre, en el local donde funciona la Asociación de Judo Inclusivo de la Republica Dominicana, El Centro Juvenil Barrial, en la calle Carmen Natalia, del sector El Silencio de San Pedro de Macorís, en la Republica Dominicana.
La actividad deportiva que reunió numerosos atletas, practicantes y amantes de este deporte de artes marciales, se desarrolló de manera satisfactoria con el entusiasmo de los niños y jóvenes que se dieron cita en esta contienda deportiva, realizada para celebrar y promover uno de los temas escogidos para la Semana de Acción Global en pro de los ODS, #ACT4SDGs,” Por una Paz duradera”.
Y es que el deporte es un instrumento esencial en el proceso de fomentar la paz entre las naciones, creando sentimientos de hermandad y solidaridad humana, propicias para el desarrollo de una paz duradera.
Entre los presentes estuvo, el ingeniero Jaime Casanova Martínez, presidente de la Unión Panamericana de Judo y de la Unión Panamericana de Kurash, el entrenador Manuel Guerrero, el también ingeniero Cristian Romero, entrenador de Judo local y otras personalidades presentes.

The Global Week to take action for sustainable goals is a platform to promote this historical milestone that represents the elimination of world poverty and that creates a feeling of human inclusion in all social development projects, by committing to support the human rights of all, by "leaving no one behind" and is made up of institutions and people from all over the world.
