Over 120 young and old judokas from all around Greece and the neighbouring countries participated on this tournament,which was held, for the celebration of the world day against drugs, on the 26th of june, but mainly was held for honoring sensei Akihiro Matsuura.
It is a great honor for Iraklis Judo Club and especially fpr all of iraklis judokas that Mr. Akihiro Matsuura sensei received his 8th Kodokan Dan.
The quality of the games was very high because many of the athletes that were participating are members of their countries national teams.
Most of them were from Serbia, Bulgaria, FYROM, and of course Greece.
Judokas that are Members and graduates from KETHEA-ITHAKI and other rehabilitation programs and members of Iraklis Judo Club, won 3 gold medals and 4 bronze medals.

Alexandros Madasasvili who said the athletes vow at Kiwi Judo Club Tournament in Osaka back in 2010, today in 2013 won the gold medal -73 VETERAN in the veterans category -73kg honoring Mr.Akihira Matsuura Sensei and all the Senseis of Kiwi Judo club.

Dear Sensei , the Gymnastic Club Iraklis of Tessaloniki and its judo department ,will like to honor the Kiwi Judo Club Senseis in the year 2014, before the Osaka tournament.
So the Club desided to held 3 tournaments:
-January 25th-26th 2014 the Miyazaki Sensei cup.
-June the Ithaki 2014 Matsuura cup-October 18th-19th 2014 the Iwata Sensei cup
