Thank you for being part of TAFISA World Walking Day 2026 – 24 Hours Around the Globe!

On 4 October, people and communities across the world came together to walk, run, roll, dance, cycle, play and move — carrying the World Walking Day baton from one time zone to the next.

Each baton carried a cause close to someone’s heart. From health and wellbeing to peace and solidarity, inclusion, gender equity, environmental protection and community, World Walking Day once again showed the many reasons that inspire people to get moving.

Together, these individual actions created one continuous 24-hour relay around the globe.

Gracias por formar parte del Día Mundial de la Caminata 2026 de TAFISA: «24 horas alrededor del mundo».

El 4 de octubre, personas y comunidades de todo el planeta se unieron para caminar, correr, desplazarse sobre ruedas, bailar, montar en bicicleta, jugar y moverse, llevando el testigo del Día Mundial de la Caminata de una zona horaria a otra.

Cada testigo representaba una causa importante para alguien. Desde la salud y el bienestar hasta la paz y la solidaridad, pasando por la inclusión, la equidad de género, la protección del medio ambiente y el sentido de comunidad, el Día Mundial de la Caminata volvió a mostrar las múltiples razones que inspiran a las personas a ponerse en movimiento.

En conjunto, estas acciones individuales crearon un relevo continuo de 24 horas alrededor del globo. 🌍
