Confederación Dominicana de Judo realiza actividades en el Dia Internacional de Jigoro Kano

En el caso del Judo tenemos el 165 aniversario del nacimiento del filántropo japonés, Jigoro Kano (1860-1938), quien fundo la disciplina en 1882 y con esto dejo un gran legado a la humanidad que perdura hasta nuestros tiempos con más de 200 países realizando las prácticas de la disciplina deportiva en todo el mundo y en los cinco continentes, la Confederación Dominicana de Judo (Condojudo) con sus asociaciones afiliadas realiza diferentes actividades en esta XV Edición del Dia Internacional de Jigoro Kano.
Es precisamente luego de la formación de la World Judo Federation el 26 de agosto 2010 en Rio de Janeiro, Brasil que esa entidad mundial inicia la celebración del Dia Internacional de Jigoro Kano y de aquí que hoy día estamos en la XV versión y el 165 aniversario del nacimiento del primer miembro del Comité Olímpico Internacional (COI) oriundo del Imperio del Sol Naciente y el Reino de Crisantemo.
En ese orden las Federaciones Nacionales afiliadas a la World Judo Federation (WJF) y a la Unión Panamericana de Judo (UPJ), como es el caso de la Condojudo, hicieron suya esta importante celebración realizando diferentes actividades en sus respectivos países de todos los continentes.
El Comité Ejecutivo de la Condojudo que dirigió las diferentes actividades de este XV Dia Internacional de Jigoro Kano está compuesto de por José Rafael Suarez Morales, Percio Salvador Pujols Castillo, Fanny Ocacia Bello, Bolívar Abreu Lugo y Miguel Fatiol en las posiciones de presidente, vicepresidente, secretario, tesorero y vocal, respectivamente.

Dominican Judo Confederation Holds Activities for International Jigoro Kano Day
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic - Not all sports, Olympic and non-Olympic, have a personal figure credited with the birth of their respective sport.
In the case of Judo, we mark the 165th anniversary of the birth of the Japanese philanthropist Jigoro Kano (1860-1938), who founded the sport in 1882, leaving a great legacy to humanity that endures to this day. More than 200 countries around the world and on five continents are practicing this sport.
The Dominican Judo Confederation (Condojudo) and its affiliated associations are holding various activities for this 15th edition of International Jigoro Kano Day.

Thus, today marks the 15th anniversary of the birth of the first member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) from the Empire of the Rising Sun and the Chrysanthemum Kingdom.
