ABOUT TAFISA GAMES 2016
The 6th TAFISA World Sport for All Games will be held under the patronage of UNESCO and IOC, acknowledging once again the important role that traditional sports and games play in shaping civilizations and cultures, national identities, and cross-boundaries unity. It is estimated that TAFISA Games 2016 will involve 12,000 participants from 110 TAFISA member countries.
The 2016 Games, to be held from the 6th to the 12th of October 2016 in Jakarta, Indonesia, promises to be unique. During the Organising Committee meeting that was held in Jakarta from the 26th of April to the 1st of May 2014, representatives from TAFISA and FORMI visited inspiring potential venues for the event, including the famous park “Ancol”, the open-air museum and recreation park "Taman Mini",
