AimsTo promote international goodwill and understanding through Judo.
To promote and encourage the participation of judo enthusists, irrespective of nationality,age, or gender. DateSunday, November 13, 2016 Starting time: 10:00 am VenueSakai Municipal Ohama Gymnasium 5-7-1 Ohama kitamachi, Sakai-ku, Sakai-city, Osaka-fu Tel: 072-221-2080 Entry QualificationThe Tournament is open to any male or female foreigner resident in Japan, of Junior High School age or above. (Participants from overseas are also eligible.) The tournament is also open to Osaka International Judo Friendship Association menbers and their children. Tournament FormatMEN The men's competition is divided into age categories. (Age at the time of the competition.) (1) 13 to 16 (2) 16 to 19 (3) 20 to 24 (4) 25 to 29 (5) 30s (6) 40s (7) 50s (8) Over 60s WOMEN Individual tournament (over 13 yaers old) (1) Under 57kg (2) Over 57kg CLUB TEAM TOURNAMENT - MEN AND WOMEN Men's team shall consist of 5 players who participate in the above individual tournaments. Women team is 3players. (Arrange the players in order from the lightest to the heaviest.) Entry FeeFree Organizer's Burden of CostsThe organizers will provide a participation prize and a lunch box to each participant and bear the expenses of the Farewell Party. The organizers will pay for one-way travel expenses and acommodation for foreign residents of Japan who reside outside the Kinki Area. * For people coming from overseas, three nights' hotel accomodation will be supplied.
