As the date for the venue draws near, the last details regarding the organisation of the Games are sorted out. The main venue, the prestigious Gelora Bung Karno Stadium will be able to welcome up to 100,000 spectators to attend and appreciate the performances of a few thousands athletes representing over 50 countries. Other pleasant venues such as the Ancol Dream Land Marine Resort and the Indonesia Miniature Park will also be hosting events.

The programme boasts traditional sport and games demonstrations, competitions and championships along with seminars and participatory events, including sightseeing. The selection of sports is rather eclectic, ranging from Indonesian Panahan Keraton to Brazilian Capoeira, not to forget Highland Games, BMX or Street Soccer, among many others. The Games are designed to unite and bring people together, bridging the gap between various cultures and advocating for peace, tolerance and respect.
Federations and organizations wishing to take part in the event can still register, spectators are also advised to start making their reservations early as flight fares and accommodation prices may increase as the Games draw nearer.
